This beautiful remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bath Chalet is the perfect Mountain getaway. Whether you’re looking for a quiet romantic escape, a family retreat, or an adventure filled vacation in the mountains, at The Heron’s Nest we’ve got you covered!
The Serene location is unbeatable and highly sought after. This home is nestled into the hillside overlooking the peaceful Snowline Pond on a private woodsy double lot backed by a greenbelt. It comes with access to the playground and your pets are welcome to join you while you stay.
This well laid out split level home has two stories with an entry way in between. The upstairs is a nice open floor plan where you will find the well-stocked kitchen, dining area with both a table and a bar counter, and the cozy living room with a propane fireplace. There is a large flat screen TV with a blue ray player. There is a beautiful large deck with a BBQ and comfy outdoor furniture that overlook the serene pond where you can watch the full time ducks, hear the frogs croaking, and if you get lucky you will get to see our favorite visitor “Blue” the great blue heron that frequents the pond.
Off of the kitchen towards the back of the home is a smaller second deck nestled into a peaceful woodsy background. Off of the kitchen is also a full bathroom with a stand up only shower (no tub), and a washer and dryer that you are welcome to use during your stay.
Downstairs you will find another bathroom with two molded seats and a relaxing steam shower, and also three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed and is equipped with a large screen HiDef TV with an Xbox360 and a few games.
The third bedroom is the master bedroom with a King bed and a sliding glass door out to the lower concrete patio also overlooking the pond.
Although this home is normally run off of regular electricity it also comes with a large capacity generator that will keep the whole house running during a power outage.
Snowline is a family friendly community with slow speed limits which is great for roller blading or biking with kids.
There is a fishing pond for kids ages 12 and under, a children's playground, and a large field for sports or a leisurely picnic. Hiking and biking trails will take you into the neighboring Snoqualmie National Forrest. There is easy access to Mount Baker ski area and the Nooksack river. Come explore this serene community and immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings.

Cancellation Policy
No reservation is considered complete or secure until the rental agreement has been signed and returned to Serene Mountain Escapes.
The following refunds are permitted:
Cancellation Policy and Refunds The following refunds are permitted:
a. A thirty (30) day notice is required for all cancelations except for the following dates which require a ninety (90) day notice. Dates that require a 90 day notice are any bookings that include the following dates, holidays, or events- Mt. Baker's Banked Slalom weekend (Thursday-Monday, usually held in February), President's Day and weekend (Thursday - Monday, usually in February), June 30th - July 9th, Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving weekend (Wednesday - Monday surrounding Thanksgiving), & December 20th- January 5th.
Cancelations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the standard arrival date or more than ninety (90) days prior to the specific above mentioned dates will incur no penalty of rent fees except a $50.00 processing fee, and any incurred credit card or VRBO, Air BNB etc.. fees, all other monies will be returned.
b. Cancelations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within the 30 or 90 days of the above mentioned arrival dates forfeit 100% of the rental in full and deposit, plus all credit card fees, no refunds will be given within 30 days or above mentioned 90 days of check in date.
Guests agree that Serene Mountain Escapes and its affiliates have no
control over power outages, forest fires, or road closures. Therefor Guests agree to Hold Harmless Serene Mountain Escapes in these situations. No refunds will be given for power outages, ski area closures, road closures, smoke or anything else Manager has no control over such as these. Guest agrees that this rule particularly regarding power outages supersedes all other contracts, and agrees that NO refunds will be given for power outages even if other booking companies contracts claim they will.
Deposit Policy
A refundable damage deposit is required with every booking. The deposit amount is different for each home. The amount will be shown in the cost breakdown upon booking. This deposit shall be refunded within 14
business days of Checkout Date provided no deductions are made due to:
i. damage to the property or furnishings;
ii. dirt, stains, or other mess requiring excessive cleaning;
iii. theft from premises; (this includes welcome binders, and tip envelopes) or
iv. any other cost incurred by Us relating to the lease of the Property.
All fees pertaining to damage (s) and cleaning beyond reasonable use and wear will be the sole
responsibility of the Responsible Guest, regardless of the deposit amount. Damage, theft, or
cleaning in excess of the Damage Deposit will be charged at a rate of $50.00 per hour to the
credit card on file or billed directly to Responsible Guest. Damage includes but is not limited to
wine spills, damage to grounds by vehicles , damage to walls or furniture, damage to outside
furniture. Sorry, but pets are only allowed in some of our homes, please make sure to select an appropriate home if you plan to bring animals. Thanks!

"Very Clean And Maintained, We Would Definitely Stay Again."
We recently stayed at this cabin for a weekend getaway and we were so impressed! The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed from kitchen supplies to towels and linens. It was also very private and quiet located in a wooded area away from the main road. We enjoyed spending time on the deck and listening to the birds. The cabin had all the amenities we could have asked for including a fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable king size bed.
We also appreciated the WiFi and the smart tv. Overall we had a wonderful time at this cabin and would recommend end it to anyone looking for a private and relaxing getaway. I will also add that the cabin was very clean and maintained.
It was an easy walk to Nooksack trail along the river and through a dense forest. We would definitely stay at this cabin again in the future.

We stayed here with some friends and our kids (two 5 yos and a 7 yo), it was really great. The Heron’s Nest had absolutely everything we could want or need, including lots of amenities for the kids. Loved watching the rain on the pond with coffee, and the easy drive up to the Baker resort.

We loved this home and it’s location! It’s very peaceful and private with a great view of the beautiful pond and park and an easy walk to the playground with my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. It was just about a 30” drive to the ski area for my 2 daughters and we were lucky to have good weather so they could have a great 2 days of skiing at beautiful Mt Baker.
They loved that great hot tub after skiing too, perfect! Thanks Rheannon for a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

Great house - we have stayed in Snowline many times, but this was a new location for us. Super easy check in and check out (no long list of to-dos to avoid additional charges!). We had everything we needed - so many thoughtful touches. Appreciated the clear instructions for things like the TV/movies, hot tub etc - sometimes it can be hard to orient during a short stay, so this was very helpful.

A cute little kid friendly cabin by the pond and close proximity to the playground. We appreciated that they made sure to have a baby gate to help our 1yo away from the stairs. We had a little hiccup with the check in but Rheannon was readily available to help with that. The house was clean have instructions appliances. Very welcoming!

The house is very spacious and has everyone need for a great stay. The first floor (living room/kitchen/dinning/bathroom) is the one that has been renovated, and it looks lovely. Needless to say the jacuzzi was great. The lower floor is a bit dated but this was not an issue for us as it was spacious and comfortable.
Rheannon was very helpful and always readily available for any questions, we did not had any issues at all, but I am sure that if we did, she would have solved them in a minute.
The location is secluded within the community and it is a great location to explore the hikes in the area. I think you could be a week here and hike every day on a different trail. We would definitely come back!

"Couldn’t Have Been A Better Stay"
This stay was perfect for kids. There was plenty of games and puzzles as well as snacks included for kids. Rheannon was an amazing host. She even left treats, toys, and a bed for our Corgi. Couldnt have been a better stay. Two of our kids caught trout in the pond directly outside the cabin. it was my 3 year old sons first catch. The pool offered a great place for us all to cool off from the 95 degree temperatures and the playground right out side let them all burn off some energy. We found a kid friendly him with stunning views and picturesque lakes and streams just 30 minutes away called Bagley Lake loop. Thanks Rheannon! This was our second time staying in the Snowline community, and I'm sure we'll be back in future years.

A wonderful gem! The location is private but close to the center of the community which is nice, especially if you're traveling with kids. The balcony is top notch and we loved spending time there. This is a lovely home, it was very family friendly and perfect for our family. Our children loved reading the books and playing with the toys available and walking to the playground near by. It is also near Mount Baker which made for easy access to go skiing and then come back and relax and warm up in the hot tub and/or steam shower. The house felt clean and cared for and we instantly felt welcome upon walking in the door. Rheannon is a phenomenal host. She was quick to respond to any inquiries we had and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was all that we had hoped for. If I could give more than 5 stars, I truly would.

We stayed at the Heron's Nest for a week in early September and we couldn't have asked for a better stay! The house was peaceful, very clean, and extremely comfortable. We especially loved the beautiful deck and that the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking dinner at home. Check-in was extremely easy, and Rheannon was super communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay again. If you're looking for a quiet retreat near Mt. Baker, we highly recommend the Heron's Nest!
