The Lily Suite at Snowater is Where Elegance Meets Nature! Whether you are looking for adventure and coming to explore what the Mt. Baker area has to offer, or just looking for a relaxing, peaceful, or romantic getaway, this quiet, private, suite has it all!
We have done our best to provide everything you might possibly need to make your stay the most comfortable.
This newly remodeled 1-bedroom, 1-bath suite comfortably sleeps 4 people. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom and a queen size pull-out bed in the living room. This suite has everything you need for the perfect nature getaway! This unit boasts a beautiful, new, well stocked kitchen with natural maple cabinets, granite counter tops, new appliances, and fresh paint throughout the suite.
For cozy evenings, there is a wood-burning fireplace and a selection of movies, games, books, and children’s toys.
There are plenty of extra blankets and pillows to help you get cozy!
The suite is meticulously cleaned, staged, and stocked before your arrival by professionals! All the essentials are included (bed linens, bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and much more). We use non-toxic cleaners, and provide Earth-friendly products for your stay

Snowboarding, skiing, cross country skiing, fishing, hiking, whitewater rafting, mountaineering, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, bird watching, wildlife viewing, sightseeing, water sports, rocks, and fossils, local massage, wine tasting (Mt. Baker Vineyards), great food, shopping, and a local skate park.
The Area:
There are walking trails just outside the condo that follow the Nooksack River, and hiking trails galore all around Glacier. There are many rivers and several lower elevation mountain hikes are just a few miles away.
Higher up in the Mt. Baker area you can find breathtaking views, and fresh mountain blueberries lining the hills of Artist Point in late summer.
The Ski Area holds the world record for the most snowfall in one season, and is usually open from Thanksgiving until the middle of April, weather dependent.
Chair 9 restaurant & bar is family friendly, and just a 5 min walk away, or a one minute drive.
Additional restaurants and coffee shops are a 5 min drive from Snowater.
House rules:
No smoking allowed! Snowater has designated outside smoking areas.
Quiet Hours are 11pm – 8am.
Check-in is 4pm; check-out is 11am. Please inquire about other arrangements.
We love to offer early check in when possible, however early arrival and late checkouts are only allowed with prior approval from us, and without approval are subject to fine.
Please make sure you have your dates correct before booking.
50% of all fees are required at time of booking.
Payment is due in full 60 days before your check in date.
Washington state charges a 10.5% sales/ lodging tax on your booking.
Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age, and show valid ID.
Only 2 medium sized dogs are allowed, and no other animals.
Taking care of our guests is our priority, and we live only one minute away so that we can promptly tend to any needs you may have.
Please note that in order to protect our property we do have a contract that will need to be signed within 24 hours of your booking to confirm your reservation. Valid ID must also be shown.

Cancellation Policy
No reservation is considered complete or secure until the rental agreement has been signed and returned to Serene Mountain Escapes.
The following refunds are permitted:
Cancellation Policy and Refunds The following refunds are permitted:
a. A thirty (30) day notice is required for all cancelations except for the following dates which require a ninety (90) day notice. Dates that require a 90 day notice are any bookings that include the following dates, holidays, or events- Mt. Baker's Banked Slalom weekend (Thursday-Monday, usually held in February), President's Day and weekend (Thursday - Monday, usually in February), June 30th - July 9th, Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving weekend (Wednesday - Monday surrounding Thanksgiving), & December 20th- January 5th.
Cancelations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the standard arrival date or more than ninety (90) days prior to the specific above mentioned dates will incur no penalty of rent fees except a $50.00 processing fee, and any incurred credit card or VRBO, Air BNB etc.. fees, all other monies will be returned.
b. Cancelations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within the 30 or 90 days of the above mentioned arrival dates forfeit 100% of the rental in full and deposit, plus all credit card fees, no refunds will be given within 30 days or above mentioned 90 days of check in date.
Guests agree that Serene Mountain Escapes and its affiliates have no
control over power outages, forest fires, or road closures. Therefor Guests agree to Hold Harmless Serene Mountain Escapes in these situations. No refunds will be given for power outages, ski area closures, road closures, smoke or anything else Manager has no control over such as these. Guest agrees that this rule particularly regarding power outages supersedes all other contracts, and agrees that NO refunds will be given for power outages even if other booking companies contracts claim they will.
Deposit Policy
A refundable damage deposit is required with every booking. The deposit amount is different for each home. The amount will be shown in the cost breakdown upon booking. This deposit shall be refunded within 14
business days of Checkout Date provided no deductions are made due to:
i. damage to the property or furnishings;
ii. dirt, stains, or other mess requiring excessive cleaning;
iii. theft from premises; (this includes welcome binders, and tip envelopes) or
iv. any other cost incurred by Us relating to the lease of the Property.
All fees pertaining to damage (s) and cleaning beyond reasonable use and wear will be the sole
responsibility of the Responsible Guest, regardless of the deposit amount. Damage, theft, or
cleaning in excess of the Damage Deposit will be charged at a rate of $50.00 per hour to the
credit card on file or billed directly to Responsible Guest. Damage includes but is not limited to
wine spills, damage to grounds by vehicles , damage to walls or furniture, damage to outside
furniture. Sorry, but pets are only allowed in some of our homes, please make sure to select an appropriate home if you plan to bring animals. Thanks!

Such a great place for a Mt Baker getaway. I live in Whatcom County and had some friends in town from out of state for a yearly snowboarding trip. The weather didn't pan out and ended up being the worst weather and operations day of the year but who cares, the place was awesome, Future Primitive was in the DVD collection so everything was good. Nice, quiet, clean place to spend the weekend.

We had such a great stay here at Rheannon’s place; the condo was very cute and well- stocked with board games and kitchen items. Rheannon was a very communicative and flexible host, and provided tips and suggestions for adventures. She was understanding of our request to check-in early, and reached out to us about an item we left behind. Rheannon also left instructions for the case of a power outage, which did occur. As a host, she is overall very prepared and thoughtful.

My family and I spent a week at this property. We really enjoyed how quiet and serene the property was. We came at a time of year where most of the other units were vacant however. The amenities were great and the unit had everything we needed. We would stay here again if we’re in the area again.

Rheannon was a wonderful host, responding quickly to my questions both before and during our stay. And there wasn’t anything lacking in the condo- there were even toys that kept my 2-year- old busy the whole time!
Loved the location too- an easy walk to pools, tennis courts, and my favorite, beautiful trails that meander along the river. Also a short drive to the restaurants and shops in Glacier. All in all, a perfect base camp for exploring the area around Mt. Baker, or just staying in and relaxing. Hope we get the chance to come back soon!

The place was very nice. We enjoyed the nice bedding and towels and the pantry was well stocked. They even welcomed us with a bottle of wine which was delicious. The condo grounds are very peaceful and we liked the pool. The river walk surrounding the grounds was beautiful.
