This lovely brand new construction home has gorgeous forest views and natural light making you feel like your up in a tree house. With 3 king beds, 3 bathrooms, and a private hot tub it's the ideal couples getaway.*
This beautiful new home is the ideal Mt. Baker Escape! The Woodland’s is located just over the top of a serene little pond with mountain views. There are gorgeous walking trails along the river nearby. The large picture windows let the surrounding nature and trees in, making you feel like you’re up in a tree house. This well thought out home was designed just for the purpose of hosting guests. It has a large entry way with lots of space and hooks for drying off your hiking or snow gear and there are ski and snowboard holders as well.
The first floor is the main entry and has an outdoor trail heading up to the hot tub behind the house. There is one large bedroom with a king-sized bed, two sleeper sofas that convert to twin beds to sleep 4 in this room, and a full bathroom and laundry room. The sleeper sofas are very firm so please take that into consideration depending on your needs.
Heading up the stairs you will find the large picture windows letting in all the natural light around you, and a cozy wood burning fireplace for those relaxing evenings with your favorite beverage. Please note that we do not provide wood for the fireplace, but it can be purchased nearby. We ask that the wood stove only be used by those familiar with them, and confident that they will not ruin our wood floors around them.
On this floor you’ll also find the well-stocked kitchen with everything you need for dining in, and a welcome binder with local places to eat if you prefer to go out. The large picture windows are ideal for relaxing in comfort while you enjoy the beauty of nature. The sliding glass doors let you out onto the front deck where you will find a propane BBQ. (Please note that children are not allowed on the deck because they could climb the railings.) The second bedroom is on this floor with a king-sized bed, and there's a sliding glass door going out to the hot tub. There’s another full bathroom with a shower/tub combo off of the living room.. If you prefer not to go through the bedroom to get to the hot tub, there is a pathway from the main entry to get back to it.
Heading up to the third floor you’ll find a small lofted area, the master bedroom with another king-sized bed, and a full bathroom with a ¾ shower. *Please note that the third-floor landing is not safe for children, and they are not allowed on that floor because they could climb the railings. We do provide a baby gate to help with this. By booking this home, you agree you are solely responsible for enforcing this rule and anything that happens from your not enforcing it.
One other thing to note is that there are several stairs walking up to this home that may not be ideal for the elderly or those with disabilities. We do have other homes which are handicapped accessible if you’d like to inquire of those.
Don’t forget that your furry family are welcome too. We gladly host up to two well behaved dogs for each stay.
There is a neighboring property that we also manage called The Heron's Nest where you can stay close by your friends if you have a larger group. Please feel free to ask us about this home as well.
~We can not guarantee hot tub will be hot and ready the night of your arrival. It depends on how the previous guests treated it and if we have to drain it, but we will do our best to have it ready.
~ PLEASE NOTE: This driveway can only hold 4 vehicles. NO PARKING is allowed on the road edges, vehicles must be completely in the driveway. We really appreciate your cooperation, and apologize for any inconvenience.
Also, this home has several stairs walking up to it that may not be ideal for those with physical limitations or the elderly. We do also have handicapped accessibles homes as well if you're interested.

Cancellation Policy
No reservation is considered complete or secure until the rental agreement has been signed and returned to Serene Mountain Escapes.
The following refunds are permitted:
Cancellation Policy and Refunds The following refunds are permitted:
a. A thirty (30) day notice is required for all cancelations except for the following dates which require a ninety (90) day notice. Dates that require a 90 day notice are any bookings that include the following dates, holidays, or events- Mt. Baker's Banked Slalom weekend (Thursday-Monday, usually held in February), President's Day and weekend (Thursday - Monday, usually in February), June 30th - July 9th, Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving weekend (Wednesday - Monday surrounding Thanksgiving), & December 20th- January 5th.
Cancelations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the standard arrival date or more than ninety (90) days prior to the specific above mentioned dates will incur no penalty of rent fees except a $50.00 processing fee, and any incurred credit card or VRBO, Air BNB etc.. fees, all other monies will be returned.
b. Cancelations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within the 30 or 90 days of the above mentioned arrival dates forfeit 100% of the rental in full and deposit, plus all credit card fees, no refunds will be given within 30 days or above mentioned 90 days of check in date.
Guests agree that Serene Mountain Escapes and its affiliates have no
control over power outages, forest fires, or road closures. Therefor Guests agree to Hold Harmless Serene Mountain Escapes in these situations. No refunds will be given for power outages, ski area closures, road closures, smoke or anything else Manager has no control over such as these. Guest agrees that this rule particularly regarding power outages supersedes all other contracts, and agrees that NO refunds will be given for power outages even if other booking companies contracts claim they will.
Deposit Policy
A refundable damage deposit is required with every booking. The deposit amount is different for each home. The amount will be shown in the cost breakdown upon booking. This deposit shall be refunded within 14
business days of Checkout Date provided no deductions are made due to:
i. damage to the property or furnishings;
ii. dirt, stains, or other mess requiring excessive cleaning;
iii. theft from premises; (this includes welcome binders, and tip envelopes) or
iv. any other cost incurred by Us relating to the lease of the Property.
All fees pertaining to damage (s) and cleaning beyond reasonable use and wear will be the sole
responsibility of the Responsible Guest, regardless of the deposit amount. Damage, theft, or
cleaning in excess of the Damage Deposit will be charged at a rate of $50.00 per hour to the
credit card on file or billed directly to Responsible Guest. Damage includes but is not limited to
wine spills, damage to grounds by vehicles , damage to walls or furniture, damage to outside
furniture. Sorry, but pets are only allowed in some of our homes, please make sure to select an appropriate home if you plan to bring animals. Thanks!

Rheannon's place is truly magical - a beautifully appointed, airy, modern, and warm vacation home surrounded by majestic red cedars and pines, complete with a small creek and a pond nearby. Truly a serene retreat! The accommodations were comfortable, the space inviting, the hot tub working well, and the kitchen well-stocked - we appreciated all of this as we prepared dinners together every evening. The location was ideal for commuting to Mt. Baker. We loved our stay and hope to be back!

I can't rave about this house enough! We do a Baker trip yearly and this is going to be our go to spot. The house is immaculate, well stocked, well laid out and the view is stunning. There was very clear instructions for pretty much everything which was super helpful. And to just take it over the top, really precious touches like adorable towel art on our beds when we check in. Loved our stay, 10/10 would recommend.

Stayed here for a ski trip with friends. This was the perfect stay, with a fully equipped kitchen for family dinners, a large hot tub to refresh, and lots of room to chill between long days of skiing. I would definitely stay here again!

The many details in decorating, comfort choices in beds and linens, size, plus layout of bedrooms and bathrooms are all top notch. This is a wonderful place! The location in Snowline is great, the home is new and wonderfully designed and decorated. The kitchen has everything you'll need and the amenities are perfect. We enjoyed the view of the mountains and the pond in Snowline. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at this beautiful Mt. Baker Escape hosted by Serene Mountain Escapes, and it was a dream! The serene pond views with a single black duck hanging around to add to the ambiance and mountain backdrop set the perfect scene for a peaceful getaway. The walking trails along the river were a delightful bonus. The house, designed with guests in mind, felt like a cozy treehouse with a great wood burning fireplace and its large picture windows showcasing nature at its best. Kudos to Serene Mountain Escapes for the thoughtful touches. Plus, they're incredibly dog-friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable for our furry friends.
