You have multiple clients coming and going throughout each month rather than just one approved person for many months or years. It is very important to carefully screen every single guest to make sure that not only they, but the other guests they bring, are going to treat your home with the respect it deserves. This can be a very time-consuming task!
Keeping a Close Eye on Things
My husband and I live right here in Glacier full time with our two children, so we are always available to keep a close eye on your property. We do not hire out our cleaners or home inspectors, but personally clean and walk through every home we manage each time a guest checks out to ensure no damage has been done, and everything is in pristine order for the next guest. We are the only property management company in Glacier who does this.
We have a keen eye and strong attention to detail. It is very important to keep track of little details such as items that could go missing, or things that get damaged to ensure that guests are responsible for their own negligence should that arise. We manage every property as if it were our own!
Additional Services
Advertising can be very expensive! At Serene Mountain Escapes we take care of the advertising and associated costs of that marketing for you.
We also provide and pay for over 50 consumables for your guests comfort with every stay. This makes each stay more enjoyable for your guests, and ensures a higher percentage of repeat customers. This service is free of charge to you and your guests.
We feel that when people come for a vacation they are paying a lot of money and they should get an atmosphere that reflects that in every way! We feel that every little detail matters from the obvious things like cleaning and sanitizing well, all the way down to how a towel is folded and where a pillow is placed.
You as an owner have likely put a lot of time and money into your home, and we believe it needs to be cared for and maintained in every way! This is not an easy task for just anyone.
We have opted to be a small business with only a VERY select few homes so that we can stay on top of maintenance both inside and out, and so we have the time to personally tend to every need of your home whether it be cleaning, responding to guest needs quickly, shoveling or plowing driveways when necessary, or any other issues that arise from time to time.
Property Malfunctions
The hardest thing to deal with when managing your own home from a remote location is when things go wrong. Things like pipes bursting, appliances breaking down, furnaces quitting, water heaters dying and guests losing gate cards and keys, and a big one in Glacier the past couple years, the power going out – can be difficult to impossible for you to deal with at a distance.
These are completely unpredictable, and usually make guests very upset very quickly if they are left to deal with this on their own. These are all things that Serene Mountain Escapes tend to immediately when they happen, so you can sit back worry-free and just enjoy the income from your property!
