We have tried to think of all the little details you may like to have, and incorporate them into our vacation rental homes for your comfort. Our homes are meticulously cleaned with nontoxic cleaners, and staged by us. We do not hire out cleaners because we like to make sure that each and every home is just the way we would like it to be for your arrival. Your satisfaction is extremely important to us! Weddings at Mt. Baker
Wandering Waters offers stunning mountain views, seclusion, and the distant sound of the North Fork River as a gorgeous backdrop for your special day. The venue sits at the base of a forested slope of tall cedar and fir trees. The landscape to the south is defined by the broad shoulders of Slide Mountain while Church and Bald Mountain tower in the east. Maple Creek slowly meanders through the property.

Dog Boarding and Daycare
The Dog Ranch is located in Bellingham approximately 40 minutes from our vacation rentals and the town of Glacier. They are a wonderful source for your furry family members that you might decide not to bring with you for your stay. Owner Shylee is a certified Veterinarian’s Assistant, who really enjoys working with animals. We love to work with and recommend other small family businesses like ourselves, and we are confident you will love your hands on experience at The Dog Ranch!

Groceries near Glacier
Grahams Store is located right in the middle of our tiny town. They serve espresso, drip coffee, and AWESOME made-to-order bagels and handmade berry smoothies. There is a nice selection of ice cream bars too. They are located in one of Glacier’s original buildings right in the heart of town. They carry a little bit of everything (it is amazing what variety they have packed into such a small space). Most people stop in Bellingham to get their main groceries and just pick up the odds and ends once they get out this way. It’s a great place to pick up any last-minute items you may desire as well. They have a great selection of beer and wine. They have some fresh fruits and veggies, and a large selection of other refreshments such as juices and sodas. They also carry ice and firewood. The side of this store is where our lock box is located for your check in gate cards.

Crossroads Grocery is located in Maple Falls, about 8 miles west of (before) Glacier. They also carry a variety of miscellaneous items. They have food, beverages, videos, and a few souvenirs.

Maple Fuels Shell is the LAST GAS STATION heading up the mountain. They are located in Maple Falls, WA and have gasoline, diesel, and propane. They also have a nice little hardware section as well as some emergency items.

Glacier Restaurants
There are several great dining options in Glacier for being such a tiny town! All the restaurants are very casual as far as attire goes.
Wake ’n Bakery is located right here in Glacier. It’s another lovely little option for your morning coffee. They sell organic espresso, and local homemade goodies such as muffins, cookies and scones. They also have some breakfast wraps. They are located just across the street from Grahams, behind Milano’s and the Glacier Ski Shop.

Heather Meadows Café is a seasonal café located near the Mt. Baker Ski Area. With limited days and dates of operation, it generally opens sometime around 4th of July assuming that the road to Artist Point is open for the season. They serve soups sandwiches, and simple snacks, as well as beer, wine, and frozen treats.

North Fork Pizza and Brewery, though not located in Glacier, isn’t far away (about 15 minutes west towards Bellingham) and is well worth the drive. With fresh homemade pizza and calzones, and locally brewed beer made right there onsite, you won’t be disappointed!
