We had such a wonderful time at Rheannon’s house! It was so comfortable and cozy, in a lovely location. The hot tub was wonderful with beautiful forest views, the fireplace made it really cozy inside! There is an amazing forest trail nearby that was perfect for long walks. There were a ton of super thoughtful touches throughout the house that made it such a wonderful weekend! Would definitely recommend this house for a family or friends getaway — it was perfect for us!

Everything Is Done With Love & Care!

The house is very lovely, cozy and comfortable. The place was very clean, even nicer in reality then on pictures. It feels like everything there is brand new. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Everything in the house and around is done with love and care for the guests. You can find a lot of essentials around the house, games and books for kids. The location is great, nature is gorgeous there. There are many hiking trails close by, a river, and it is about half an hour of scenic drive to the Mt. Baker Ski Area. We had a wonderful time there and are already missing it. It is hard to imagine a better cabin. Rheannon is a great host. Thank you for everything!

Great spot. We loved everything about it, from the cozy woodstove to well- stocked kitchen, to proximity to great trails. Plus, it was incredibly clean. Rheannon and Kelsey are clearly invested in ensuring good communication and that guests enjoy themselves. Hoping to return this winter.

Couldn’t Have Asked For A Better Stay!

We stayed at the Heron’s Nest for a week in early September and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The house was peaceful, very clean, and extremely comfortable. We especially loved the beautiful deck and that the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking dinner at home. Check-in was extremely easy, and Rheannon was super communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay again. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat near Mt. Baker, we highly recommend the Heron’s Nest!

Loved staying here! Our favorite airbnb so far. Great amenities. We used the sauna and pool daily. A quick drive to the mountain and close to some good pizza. Appreciated the little extras during our stay since we forgot some things at home. Would definitely stay here again!

Truly Relaxing and Pampered Stay!

I have never stayed in a place that had so many extra touches. A beautiful bouquet of flowers, a hand written welcome note and even chocolates on arrival. I love the live plants in this condo, that give it such a relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen was well stocked. The unit was sparkling clean. Even a brand new sponge, which I loved. It was cheery and warm on arrival. What a treat. Our host, Rheannon, was fantastic.. She quickly responded to our inquiries. Check in, was a breeze. But best of all, check out required no laundry, no bed stripping. This location is wonderful if you want to have gorgeous scenery, walks on the river and be close to the amenities. I can’t wait to return to Mt. Baker and I will definitely be staying with Serene Mountain Escapes.
