“With the expected additional snow on top of the remaining base, we are looking at a limited operations opening for Passholder Day (Mt. Baker Season Passholders only) next Wednesday Dec. 13th and then Opening Day Thursday Dec. 14th with limited operations. This, of course, is all dependent on how the weather unfolds over the next week. Check this Snow Report again on Monday (Dec. 11) for a confirmation of the planned Opening Day….

Fall is my favorite season up here in Glacier Washington. The colors are so beautiful! This photo was taken on the Lake Ann hike 10/6/23. The temps were warm and sunny, we had our shorts on, and my pup Layla decided to cool off with a little swim. The Lake Anne trailhead is very easy to find and get to unlike some of the other hikes in the area. This hike is located right along the paved highway that goes past Mt. Baker Ski Area and up to Artist Point. This is the best time of year for hiking the Mt. Baker area in my opinion.
