Skyline Chalet

A beautiful home in a beautiful area. This home is as advertised, spacious, well appointed and beautiful. A number of gorgeous hikes are nearby, and the hot tub is a marvelous amenity in which to end the day. We would recommend Rheannon's place to any of our friends!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and charming cottage! The location is quiet and scenic a perfect retreat from the city, convenient to Mount Baker for hiking and exploring. The space itself is newly renovated, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with cozy touches throughout. The hot tub was a definite highlight after long days outdoors. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable getaway in a beautiful setting!

It’s the perfect location for a weekend getaway from Seattle. Quiet community, 40 minutes drive to artist point. The house is clean and well maintained.

Fantastic location in Glacier with access to the Mount Baker area for hiking. Private but in a nice neighborhood. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great place to stay where you can unwind after a long day of hiking. Hot tub and the grill were game changers!

My family had an amazing time here. Location is great! Furniture was very comfortable. Everyone in our party said they slept great on the beds. The space was extra clean and we appreciated the use of none toxic cleaners. I love to cook and the kitchen was awesome. Loved that we could bring our dog. Hot tub was nice after a long dayhike. We really enjoyed our stay here - very peaceful, clean, spacious. The kitchen is well stocked like others have said. The beds were comfortable. We appreciated the big supply of DVD movies. We drove to the Mt Baker ski area/Artist point daily to hike around including at sunrise which was beautiful. We would stay here again when we come back to the Mt. Baker area.

Beautiful home was quiet and in a heavily wooded gated community. Safe to walk even after dark, nearby hiking trail was very fun! Cooked most meals at home and had excellent array of supplies plus a nice big kitchen table for the whole family. Beds very comfortable. Hot tub was spotless and a divine retreat, used each evening. Amazing overall!

GREAT house. Would definitely stay here again. The kitchen is one of the best stocked with tools of any house I've ever rented. Loved the propane fire pit outside. Super clean, super quiet.

The cabin is cozy, clean, and full of charm. The bed was super comfortable, and we really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals during our stay.
The internet was a bit spotty at first, but the hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive. They gave us great tips, including rebooting the modem, which solved the issue. After that, we just rebooted it each night before bed, and it worked perfectly for streaming and browsing.
We truly appreciated the thoughtful communication and support from the hosts—they made our stay smooth and enjoyable.

It's a great home and very welcoming and prepared for dogs (clear rules, dog friendly floors, great mud room for getting them clean, etc). Rheannon is super responsive and helpful if any questions come up. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family of four (two adults, two teenage boys) had a great stay! There was plenty of space to spread out, we appreciated the stocked kitchen as we did all of our own cooking, and I was delightfully surprised with the level of communication. Rheannon has thought of everything; I can’t think of one thing I would suggest to change.

We loved our visit. The house is beautifully decorated and very cozy. It was well-appointed and extremely clean and tidy. We cooked and hung out a lot in the evenings. The beds are comfy and the location was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely go back again!
One tip if you like to cook, you should shop in Bellingham on the way up. The local grocery stores have some staples but not a lot of variety.
Rheannon was wonderful. Very responsive and helpful with our questions. There are instructions for everything in the house and the area.
All in all, an A+ experience! We highly recommend it!

Perfect! We enjoyed our Thanksgiving in the well appointed home! Great location to head up skiing for a day! Cozy and comfortable while feeling spacious for our family of six adults! The hot tub and fire pit are the cherry on top! The host is excellent at communicating! Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic stay. The community is really nice and the hiking was beautiful. I highly recommend heilotrope trail which is very close to the cabin and one of the best view of baker. Amazing host. Wonderful communication.

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and the community was relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit as well as the trail to the river. There was quick communication from the host throughout.

We stayed in the Airbnb with 6 adults. Everyone was comfortable! The kitchen is well appointed. The showers were fantastic and the host was very responsive.

Exactly like the photos and super clean space. There’s a beautiful trail with a river and mountain views a very short walk from the door. Beds were firm but comfy and we slept well. We especially enjoyed the radiant floor heating and fireplaces as it got quite cold while we were there. It was a great spot for our dog—the quiet road with little traffic and trail made for beautiful and peaceful walks. This is a great spot to hang out or as a home base for exploring Mt Baker.

We had a wonderful stay for a 50th birthday celebration. Rheannon was very responsive and the house was everything we needed.

Rheannon was ultra-responsive always quickly responding to my many questions about hikes, food, etc. Glacier is a quiet and peaceful little spot. We enjoyed hiking all along the Mt. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of staying at this house. Our family of 4 + Corgi got a lot of quiet time and there was a nice hiking trail within walking distance of the house.

This chalet is appointed wonderfully and is very clean and comfortable. Fresh flowers and a gift for our dog were a nice touch. The host was a pleasure to communicate with. The location is close to various outdoor activities.

This cabin was perfect for 3 couples. There was a ton of room and a nice patio to sit outside (in the front and back). The backyard was pretty private with a very nice hot tube. We brought 2 dogs and they had everything you would need (dog bed, bowls, leash, toys). There was a beautiful fire in the main living space which was easy to use and hot water on demand. It is about a 30 min drive to Mount Baker and a 7 min walk to the pub chair 9 (which has great pizza). There are also walking trails beside the river near by (2 which we found walking distance from the cabin). The host went above and beyond making sure we (as well as our dogs) were welcomed. We would highly recommended this cabin and area to stay. Thank you!

The place was nice and would've been perfect if we had our dogs. The hot tub was fantastic at the end of the day. I thought it was great that Chair 9 pizza was easy to walk to. We were able to go there in the evenings to grab a beer and watch some of the NCAA tournament.
I appreciated that Rheannon took the time (late in the night) to answer questions I had about the separate rental agreement that was required.
We had a nice stay in Glacier.

We loved our stay – the listing was as described and had everything we could need or want. It was also notably clean when we arrived (the cleanest Airbnb I've ever seen and I've stayed at a great number!), with a fire crackling in both fireplaces which was so welcoming. A bonus was the extra large closets (almost the size of a small room – great as we had little ones sleeping in pack-n-plays and these allowed extra space in the room for those and a bit darker for nap time) and the little welcome details from the host, in particular the doggy welcome basket, that made our pup feel right at home. Location was excellent for skiing and snowshoeing at Mt. Baker and we also enjoyed walking around the community itself. We hope to return soon!

We had a relaxing weekend! This cabin is in a wonderful location in Glacier. It's quiet and there's lots of trails to walk if you bring your dog. Would definitely stay here again. Easy access to ski slopes and hiking.

Such a cute stay for a little galentines get away! Place is so cozy I didn’t want to leave. The neighborhood is so amazing and peaceful. Everything in the unit is labeled and so easy to find. We loved our few days there, thank you!!

We stayed here for a long weekend working/skiing at Mt. Baker. The house is great with plenty of room and is nicely appointed and comfortable. Great location and in close proximity to all that is in Glacier. Rheannon was great, quick to respond and helpful. We would gladly consider staying here again the in the future.

Great place for our family of 3 couples for a winter weekend. House is decorated very nicely and comfortable ( beds, sitting areas, etc). Host is very responsive, she noticed that I forgot to update my guest count from original booking to when we arrived and contacted me to make sure we had all the amenities for our increase in group size.

Not only was the house beautiful, impeccable and comfortable, the owner is a top-notch and responsive communicator! Our family of 5 (adult and older teen kids) moved around quite comfortably (the couch is always the hardest thing to get right with a large family and this one was COMFY and we ALL FIT!). Wonderful hot tub, games, walks, skiing, Chair 9, cooking in the beautiful, amenity-filled kitchen, family time, etc — highly recommend and can't wait to come back again.

We loved our stay at this gorgeous chalet. Check in instructions were very clear and easy. The community is beautiful and feels very safe. The house is incredibly well looked after and clean. The kitchen is really well stocked and the amenities are generally just really well thought out. This was our first time bringing our dog to an Airbnb and this place definitely sets the bar for the future, it had everything we needed for her. She was so happy with the dog bed that we have ordered the exact same one for her to use at home. The kids also loved the board games and the community pool. We were also pleasantly surprised at how well the house stayed cool in the heat and the location was the perfect base for exploring Mt Baker. All in all you can really tell that the hosts really care about making this an enjoyable stay for guests. We’d definitely recommend this place to others and stay again in the future.

We loved the cabin! It was in a beautiful setting and nicely decorated. The one big open living room/ kitchen was perfect for family gathering. Lots of good kitchen tools. Loved the dog friendly touches!

We had an enjoyable stay here, all the amenities were thoughtful. The kitchen supplies were perfect and of good quality compared to other Air Bnb's that we've stayed at.

After a nice, easy and short walk to the waters edge it was a nice welcome afterwards to share a meal at the large table with friends and enjoy a glass of wine in the hot tub under the stars. The entire house is very clean and sanitized. Beds are comfy and each room has a nice theme. Washing machine/ dryer are a must if you like to frolic in the snow or just walk through puddles or colorful autumn leaves. Throw your clothes in the washer and enjoy a board game and refreshment and then it's time to throw your clothes in the dryer. You're ready for the next outing.
The location is pretty easy to get to. The community is right off the main road to Mt. Baker. There is good security as you have to use a card to enter.
I highly recommend this house. If I return to this area I will stay here again.

There are lots of nearby hiking trails along the river and through the forest and it is so close to Mt. Baker. It was serene, relaxing and rejuvenating for the senses. What a wonderful place to stay! We loved the access to the trails, the river, and the pool. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful The home is sparkling clean, well appointed with everything that you could possibly need for an enjoyable getaway and home away from home! Our favorite part of our visit was the amazing hot tub and the wonderful gathering space aroundthe fire pit! Thank you for the visit! We will return again soon!

This Air BnB is amazing!!! I have stayed in a few places around the country and have had few experiences like this place. New condition, super clean, everything you would need with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, etc. And 3 private bedrooms with queen and king beds! Very rarely do you get that in a rental. Outside there is a generously sized hot tub with great jets, and a real fire pit, perfect for our kiddos and s'mores! We also saw a great pool, but it's too cold to swim right now. This place is super close to long hiking trails and Mt. Baker Ski Area, but there is also trail access down to the river less than a 1/4 mile from the house. We will definitely be back!!!

I had the pleasure of staying in this amazing Serene Mountain Escapes home when my wife and I visited Mt. Baker in September. The attentiveness of the staff made it seem as though we had our own concierge service. The Skyline Chalet has that fresh clean feeling. Soaking in the hot tub was a real treat after a day of hiking the trails. We will be back!

My family needed a “close” getaway, and this cabin and location was exactly what we were looking for. In just a short (and beautiful) 45 minute drive from Bellingham, we felt like we were completely removed from town. We went on gorgeous hikes each day, and loved coming back to the hot tub each night. The whole place was immaculate, and my daughter said that she wanted to copy everything from the layout to the decor in her own home someday. We thought about trying out a local restaurant, but the amazing kitchen made it too easy to just stay in. We can’t wait to get back.
