It’s a chilly day here in Glacier, WA. There’s fresh frost on the ground and lots of snow up at Mt. Baker. This has been one of the best openings we’ve had at Baker in many years. The mountain currently has 80” of snow on Pandome. Come enjoy the slopes!

The warm cozy Cedar Rim Chalet has last minute availability for Thanksgiving weekend. The Mt. Baker Ski Area is open for the 2024/25 season and the snow is deep already. The lifts are all open so you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding during the day and sit by the warm fire or enjoy a glass of wine in the hot tub in the evening at the Cedar Rim Chalet. The snow is starting to fall here in Glacier, WA. It’s the first snow of the season for us, but Mt. Baker Ski Area already has over 67” of fresh snow! The ski area will be opening early this year, and forecasts are predicting that we are going to have a very snow winter here at Mt. Baker.
